Provided your vehicle was registered from new in the UK and not imported, you are automatically entitled to 1 year Volvo Assistance cover for vehicles first registered up to 31st December 2011 and for 3 years for vehicles first registered from 1st January 2012. Cover will commence 7 days following your instruction, subject to payment authorisation.
If you have an existing Volvo Assistance policy, cover begins from the expiry date of your current policy.
The policy covers your vehicle; therefore anyone driving your vehicle, with your permission, will receive assistance if required.
No, cover is not transferable between vehicles, although if you sell your Volvo privately then you are able to register the policy to the new owner should you so wish.
